First, Matt went to Home Depot for a few things that were on a list like blinds and paint brushes. Well, he came home with none of the things on the list... only a tree! Turns out that they were on such a good sale that he just could not pass it up! Haha... I don't think that he even made it inside the store! It took Neil and Matt about an hour to plant the tree but now it looks great! I can't wait to watch it grow!

Well, we went back to Home Depot and got the other things on the list... We finally got blinds for our back window! When we met our backyard neighbors they said that they could see right in our house through the back door window. I was embarrassed so temporarily I had taped pillow shams over the window so they couldn't watch us anymore... The blinds look so much nicer! I'm so glad they are up!Here's the view from the outside... No one's gonna be able to see through those blinds!
The blinds are actually inside the glass on the door! It's so neat!
We have lots more home improvement projects planned... I'll keep you updated!

How, oh how did you get the blinds inside the glass? Sounds like a magic trick. You will be so glad that you planted a tree, watching it grow through the years will be a great reminder of your beginning.
