Family Visits

My dad was in town this last weekend from Pennsylvania. Jackson really enjoyed getting to meet his Grandpa. I love this picture of them looking at each other! Jackson got to play cards for the first time this weekend. Hopefully he will enjoy playing cards like his mommy, his grandpa, and his Great Grandma Shaw!
Jackson's Great Grandma and Grandpa Waldron were in town from Michigan a week ago to meet Jackson. We had a really fun time visiting with them. I love this picture of the four generations: baby, me, my mom, and my grandparents.

New Shades...

Jackson got some new sunglasses today...
He is so smiley!
He is always putting his hands in his mouth trying to suck on his thumb... here he was successful at getting his thumb!

1st Easter and 2 Month Check Up

We had a great Easter this year. We went to http://denton.thevillagechurch.net/ at noon with GG and Pawpaw. Then came back to our house for a late lunch where Grandma Julie and Aunt Janie joined us. Here we are getting dressed and ready for church on Jackson's 1st Easter.
He is smiling so much now!
We had just strapped him in the car seat to go to church and guess what? A poopie!
Here is his bunny sleeper that Matt posted about on Facebook... not as bad as he made it sound.
But it does have a cute little cotton tail on the butt!!!Playing with his easter basket and wearing his baseball outfit the next day...
He turned 2 months on Saturday and had his check up yesterday. Dr. Jones said that he looks great! He is now 12 pounds, 5 ounces and 23 1/4 inches long. He is now is the 75th percentile in weight and 70th percentile in height. That's a big jump from when he was born in the 10th percentile in weight and 50th in height! She also said he is really strong because of the way he lifts his head up and rolls over from his tummy to his back. She said most babies do that around 4 months old and he did it at 1 month! We feel very blessed to have such a healthy baby!
