In the Hospital

Jackson Matthew arrive on Feb 3, 2010 at 10:53am. I will post the labor story sometime soon. First, I wanted to share some pictures from his first couple of days. He he is right after he was born being weighed in the delivery room.... 6 lbs. 13.8 oz.Then measured... 19.5 inches long.
In the delivery room they got him all cleaned up in the bassinet right next to my bed. I love the face he is making. I think he looks just like his daddy in this picture.
Putting his first little shirt on him and wrapping him up so he will be warm and mommy can hold him.My first time holding him in the delivery room after he was all warmed up. This is just minutes after he was born.
Mommy and Daddy with Jackson. This is our first family picture with all three of us.Grandma, GiGi, Pawpaw, Uncle Jeremy, and Aunt Missy all arrived to the hospital right before he was born. They got to visit us while we were still in the delivery room. Grandma is holding him here for the first time.
GiGi's first time holding him.Once everyone got to meet him, Jackson and Daddy went to the nursery to get his first bath.Thursday, Jackson's second day in the hospital. Mommy just loves holding you Bubby.
Daddy is so sweet with Jackson. This is the chair that lays out and where Matt slept while we were in the hospital.
Jackson loves his daddy so much!
Here he is in his bassinet. The volunteers at the hospital made him a cute little hat.
We had lots of nice visitors in the hospital. Here are some of his goodies in the hospital room.
Friday, Jackson and Mommy's last day in the hospital.Getting in the car seat for the first time. Most of Jackson's clothes are too big on him. This little sleeper is newborn size.Getting in the car to go home. Mommy sat in the back seat with Jackson. He did so good in the car. He just slept the whole way home.
More pictures to come. We feel so blessed that to have Jackson added to our family. God is so good!
