Marybeth Michelle Wear arrived 1/23/12 at 4:40pm!!! We are now officially a family of 4!
Monday morning we decided to change our normal routine a little and go walking with Keri and her boys at Willowbend mall instead of the Denton mall. Jackson and I rode in her car with her since it's about 40 mins away. We walked for about an hour, did a little bit of shopping, let the boys play in the play area, and had lunch in the food court. As we were finishing lunch a little after 12:00, I told Keri that I thought I might have just had a contraction. It was just a small cramp so we finished lunch and did a little more shopping. I felt a couple more about 8-10 minutes apart so I told her that we should probably head home. She hurried me home and the contactions kept coming. I called Matt and he rushed home from work. By the time he was home the contractions were getting more painful and were about 4 minutes apart, so we headed to the hospital. They got us checked into the hospital and said I was about 5-6 cm. I made good progress over the next couple of hours. About 4:20 they broke my water. About 10 minutes later I wanted to push. After one push she was here.
Checking into the hospital and having a contraction.
A few minutes after she was born. She knew that I was her mommy right away.
She is all clean after her first bath, about 4 hours old. She loves to have her hands near her face and in her mouth.
Jackson's first time meeting Marybeth. He enjoyed getting to hold her and sitting in the hospital bed. He thought she had a cute nose. It's funny because I think that their noses look so much alike.
Everyone who came to visit Marybeth the day she was born. (Jackson, Grandma, Uncle Jeremy, Pawpaw, Aunt Missy, MawMaw, Marybeth, and Daddy)
On Tuesday Uncle Randy, Aunt Bridgette, Aunt Janie, Grandma, and Jackson came to visit us at lunchtime.
Her first pink bow!
Going home from the hospital on Tuesday night. It was storming really bad outside.

Marybeth's Nursery is Ready!
Matt and I spend most of the weekend working on getting the nursery ready for Marybeth. It turned out really cute and really pink. I'm so excited about it! Here are a few pictures so you and see it.
We moved most of the furniture, except the twin bed, out of Jackson's room and into the nursery.Another big thank you to Jen Windle, who painted the brown ribbon around the room. You did such a beautiful job. I love it!
Matt got me the picture above the glider for Christmas. He was so thoughtful. He went on my pinterest account and ordered one of the things I had pinned for the baby's room.
Only 3 1/2 more weeks until my due date. I'm so excited to meet sweet little

Big boy bed!
Jackson is taking his first nap in his big boy bed! In the picture you can see him sleeping in the video monitor. He slept in the big boy bed all night last night for the first time too. He got to pick out cho cho train sheets and is very excited about them. Good thing likes his toddler bed because his baby sister will be needing the crib very soon!

Christmas 2011
This was my favorite Christmas yet. It was so fun watching Jackson experience all of the joys of Christmas!
The weekend before Christmas we flew to Ohio to visit my dad at his new house. We went on lots of fun adventures. Here is Grandpa, Matt, and Jackson at the Ohio state capital.
Jackson found his name...
Jackson trying to catch a snowflake on his tongue. He was so excited to see the snow!
We also visited the Columbus Zoo. They had the most beautiful Christmas light display. We didn't get to see that many animals, but still had a great time. Jackson's favorite part was the Cho Cho train ride.
On Christmas Eve we went to church with Mawmaw, Pawpaw, Grandma, Aunt Janie, and Aunt Missy and then they came back to our house for dinner.
Jackson got to open an early Christmas gift from Grandma.
A family picture before church. Marybeth is getting bigger. Only one month until her due date!Santa came on Christmas morning. Jackson had so much fun opening all of his new gifts. He loves his new "Jackson size" rocking chair (that's what he calls it).
After celebrating as a family Christmas morning, we went over to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house for lunch and more present opening. Jackson got a grill to cook on...He pretty much hasn't stopped cooking on it since he got it.
The day after Christmas we got together with Grandma, Aunt Janie, Uncle Randy, and Aunt Bridgette to celebrate and exchange gifts. Jackson had so much fun showing off all of the new things that he has been learning. He even got an ice cream cone treat.

I can blog from my iPhone!
Well, I have really been missing blogging, so I did a little research and discovered I can create a blog post from my iPhone. That means it will be way easier for me to upload pictures to the blog and I will start doing it more often. So start checking the wearhouse blog again. I will try to keep you updated with what is going in in our family's life.

Trip to Michigan
Jackson, my mom, and I took a 4 day trip to Michigan last Thursday thru Sunday to visit a lot of my relatives. I forgot my camera, but my dad sent me some pictures. I will share the ones I have and when I get more I will post those.
We stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa Waldron's house. Here is Jack playing in their family room.
Friday we spent the day with my dad and Grandma Shaw. They picked us up and took us out to lunch. Jackson had so much fun coloring and visiting.
Then we went back to my Grandma's new house and she wanted to see his new walking skills.
Jackson went right to my dad and was so excited to see him. He loves my dad to bounce him on his knee and play "motor boat" with him.
He got into the pots and pans... they are locked away at home.
My Grandma made a great dinner. (We ate really well all trip.) I just love these two shots of Jack with his Great Grandma Shaw. Can you tell he loves her!

Jackson's 1st Christmas
Jackson's 1st Christmas morning... Santa came!
This is the way Jack opened all of his gifts.... one little piece at a time.
He wanted to play with each toy after he opened it rather than opening the next one.
We went to Grandma's house and MawMaw and PawPaw's house on Christmas day. We had such a good day!
This is one of his favorite new toys...
He got so many fun new toys! Thank you to all of his Grandparents and Great Grandparents!
